2007 December Workshops

Wreath Making- all ages(materials $1.00), Leader Brenda Mowdy - Helper needed - Learn how to make a balsam wreath from a veteran wreath maker. Lots of fun.

Holiday Music - all ages   Leader Clayton Rogers - 2 adults needed to help - Children will learn all about the Columbia St. Church organ, hear some holiday music and have a chance to try their hand at playing the organ.

Gift Jars - all ages - (materials $3) Leader Cheryl Guay - helper needed - We will make 2 different gift jars to give away as holiday gifts. One jar will be for making cookies, and one jar will be for making soup. We not only will fill the jars, but we will decorate the jars as well.

Clown Workshop - ages5-12
2 parents needed - The Anah Shrine Clowns will be doing a workshop to show children how they change from ordinary people to fun loving clowns.
 
Caps for the Capitol - Ages 9 & up; Helper needed -  Knitting/Crochet Service Project: Knit or crochet an afghan square that we will join together into a completed afghan that will be donated to a local charity (homeless shelter, Spruce Run, nursing home, hospital, etc.) I'd like to have some squares completed before workshop so we can join them together then. Patterns will be available.

Yearbook - ages 13 and up; limit (8) We will scrapbook photos from Year End, 4-H Day at the Fair, Old MacDonald's Farm, our opening field trip and more.

Our leaders need to know at least 2 weeks prior to the start of a session how many to plan for in their classes.  Return your sign up sheets as soon as possible!
